04/06/2026

BV TECH participated in the 2026 edition of the CYBER 4.0 Forum – Cybersecurity Competence Center, a leading event for dialogue among institutions, businesses, universities, and research centers on the topics of cybersecurity, technological innovation, and digital resilience.

Over the course of the two days, the Group contributed to the discussion with presentations focused on the main challenges in cybersecurity, with particular attention to the protection of industrial environments, the evolution of the European regulatory framework, and strengthening the resilience of critical infrastructure.

OT Security e Cyber Resilience Act: Laboratories and Infrastructure for Industrial System Security
In the session titled “OT Security and the Cyber Resilience Act: Laboratories and Infrastructure for Industrial System Security,” Lorenzo Repetto and Paolo Piccardo presented RPA (Remote Port Architecture) | OT Security, the platform developed by BV TECH to ensure greater visibility and protection of critical industrial infrastructure.

The solution provides in-depth visibility into assets, enables continuous monitoring of OT environments, and enhances capabilities for preventing, detecting, and responding to cyber incidents, while also supporting organizations as they work to comply with the new requirements introduced by the Cyber Resilience Act.

Participating in the panel provided an important opportunity to exchange views with institutions, companies, universities, and partners in the Cyber 4.0 ecosystem on the future of industrial cybersecurity and regulatory compliance.

Cyber Support for Ukraine: International Cooperation and the Tallinn Mechanism
Among the topics addressed during the Forum, particular attention was devoted to cyber support for Ukraine and the strategic role of international cooperation in protecting critical infrastructure.
In his remarks, Eros Lever, CTO of Secure Network (BV TECH Group), emphasized that collaboration between organizations and the sharing of expertise are now key factors in addressing increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.
The Tallinn Mechanism was cited as a concrete example of international cooperation capable of coordinating expertise, tools, and operational support to advance digital security.

Cyber 4.0: Prospects, Challenges, and Development Trajectories of the Cybersecurity Ecosystem
During the closing session, “Cyber 4.0: Prospects, Challenges, and Development Trajectories of the Cybersecurity Ecosystem,” Raffaele Boccardo, President of BV TECH, emphasized the importance of increasingly close collaboration between institutions, the research community, and businesses to foster the growth of the national cybersecurity ecosystem.
The presentation highlighted how investments in innovation, skills development, and the promotion of domestic technologies are key elements in strengthening the country’s digital resilience and consolidating Italy’s role on the European and international stage.
BV TECH’s participation in the CYBER 4.0 Forum reaffirms its commitment to contributing to the development of an increasingly robust, collaborative cybersecurity ecosystem focused on protecting strategic infrastructure, by providing expertise, technologies, and innovative solutions to address digital security challenges.
