Virtual shooting range
The first one designed and made entirely in Italy
The Center of Excellence for Stability Police Units (CoESPU), which is the Carabinieri’s training center for police units employed in peacekeeping operations, has chosen the virtual shooting range created by Progesi to integrate within their own training course aimed at training national and international police forces.
The system called SMART
SMART (Military Simulator for Realistic Shooting Training) is the first virtual range designed and built entirely in Italy and is aimed at static and dynamic shooting training.
In a synthetic environment, SMART reproduces indoor/outdoor polygons and operational scenarios for «Force on Force» or «Force on Target» activities.
It can be used for both Virtual and «Virtual/Live» type of exercises.
