The D3 Deception Solution is designed to
- sabotage attacker’s cognitive processes;

Characterized by a modular architecture, this solution is based on the use of HoneyNet (virtualized environments that reproduce the nodes, the services and the contents of a deliberately vulnerable network segment) and on Control Center, which is a center that manages and supervises the different modules.
Each HoneyNet includes several HoneyPots for maximum coverage, characterized by specific protocols, services, vulnerabilities and interaction levels.
- Low-interaction HoneyPot – designed to emulate traditional services and support the initial stages of an attack.
- Highly Interactive HoneyPot – complex service and application characterized by specific vulnerabilities, designed to sustain long interactions with attackers and more complex attack scenarios.
It monitors the actions carried out by attackers and acquires useful details to provide full visibility of threats, used tools, exploited vulnerabilities and attack strategies that aim to react and respond effectively.
