The Electra project objective is aimed to promote a new model of urban mobility by: improving mobility demand management capacity for the cities involved, with specific reference to the use of surface and metropolitan transport networks to meet the mobility needs of citizens and tourists;
Alongside the project want to guarantee a standard structure suitable for application to other European regions or cities for the extension of transport modes (buses, cars and electric bicycles).

A WEEE sustainability model
The Electra project will verify the application of the new model for the solution of of citizens mobility problems who do not find adequate response through local public transport; such as home-work and home-school travel.
The project involves the implementation and testing of the model in 3 pilot sites – Genoa, Florence and Barcelona – very similar from the point of view of mobility and characterized by intensive use of motorcycles.
The trial includes the supply and use of 90 electric motorcycles and the complete equipment of the urban areas concerned (parking systems, signs, user services and ecc…).
In the project, T BRIDGE will support the municipality of Genoa from coordination and technical support to deployment to the adoption and evaluation of the new urban mobility model.
