The NEUROMEASURES project aims to create innovative processes and support services for the early diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease and specific motor, behavioural and/or memory disorders that characterize these pathologies.
The project is part of an innovative scientific paradigm with the aim of integrating the current knowledge of biomarkers, which helps to characterize the main clinical symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease, with knowledge deriving from modern neuroscience that propose new pathophysiological scenarios.

Innovate diagnosis processes
We intend to create new behavioural and advanced neuroimaging prototypes, based on “Virtual Reality” technologies and “Data Fusion” methodologies and services, with the aim of extracting diagnostic information relating to studied diseases and re-elaborating the management of innovative processes for the early diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease.
The project will also develop new decision support services for the early diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease through the use of advanced computational tools, with particular reference to Machine Learning techniques.
The expected result of this activity will be an innovative product of considerable relevance in clinical practice in terms of a support tool in the processes of accurate and early diagnosis, based on the identification of new neuroimaging, behavioural and molecular markers.
As part of the project, BV TECH has the main responsibility of creating, designing and developing the “Datawarehouse” module for the management of the acquisition, organisation, historicization and access, by the decision support modules, to the data extracted from the neuroimaging, molecular and behavioural markers.
