Secrecy Key Generation in Indoor Environment
07/07/2025
The research report “Performance Analysis of Physical Layer Security Secrecy Key Generation in Indoor Environment“, created by Alessandro Santorsola of the CyberLab of Grottaglie in collaboration with the Polytechnic of Bari as part of the Doctorate course in Smart and Sustainable Industry and presented during the “URSI International Symposium on Electromagnetic Theory (EMTS) -2025”, which was held in Bologna from 23 to 27 June 2025, was published on IEEE Xplore.
The research report analyzes the effects of the dipole spacing of a Uniform Linear Array (ULA) in an indoor environment on the security features of session key negotiation in the case of using the Secrecy Key Generation (SKG) protocol, which is based on physical layer phenomena as a source of entropy.
